The 5 inch gun mount
The pictures that follow are a rough draft of a 5 inch closed gun mount. The USS Helena CA-75 carried 6 of these gun mounts.
The builder, SL Avatar Cooley, tells us he has much work left to do to make the mount look as real as possible
